La Petite Retreat

Our rental property is central to everything Cape May has to offer. It’s just a 2-minute drive or 15-minute walk to either the beach or the downtown shops of Washington Street Mall or West Cape May.
As the name suggests, La Petite Retreat is a pint size cottage at just about 800 square feet. It is designed to accommodate an adult couple or small family.
There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and a twin with pull-out trundle in the second bedroom for the kids.
The kitchen is roomy with seating for four at the table and plenty of working space to prepare meals. A separate work area with a desk and chair are in the sitting room off the kitchen.
The best feature of the property is the large garden area and patio. The gardens provide seasonal color and, by July, have been filled in to create a lovely backdrop for the outdoor dining and lounge areas.
Another bonus for many guests is all the single floor living spaces. There are no stairs in the house making it easier for the young and old to navigate. There is just a single step down between the kitchen and living room.
